The Blackstone Armory is under threat of demolition!

The Friends of Blackstone, Inc. is in the process of acquiring the Armory. We intend to rehabilitate the structure for reuse and make it self-sustaining. Our goal is to turn this property into a community asset that will complement both the Schwartz's Tavern and the Carriage Museum.

Our Plans Include:

• A Museum Focused on the History of Blackstone & Nottoway County


• A Museum Gift Shop
  


• A Restaurant & Dinner Theater
  


• A Farmer's Market
